Cape Town, South Africa, has recently been awarded the title of the fourth-best large city in the world and the seventh-best city overall by Condé Nast Traveller in their 2023 Reader’s Choice Awards. This prestigious recognition reaffirms Cape Town’s status as a leading global travel destination.
Condé Nast Traveller, known for its influential Reader’s Choice Awards, gathered input from over 520,000 readers to compile their rankings. Among cities with populations exceeding 500,000, Cape Town shone brightly.
Enver Duminy, CEO of Cape Town Tourism, expressed his appreciation for the accolade, stating, “We’re honoured that Condé Nast Traveller’s discerning readership voted our beautiful Mother City as the fourth-best large city in the world.
